Overview

The Graduate School of Social Work Administrative Assistant provides enrollment and administrative support to the Recruitment Outreach and Enrollment office.

Responsibilities

Complete administrative duties including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Manage incoming GSSW communications (phone, email and in person), manage the welcome center, additional administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Learn and utilize new CRM and TouroOne Connect Application system
  • Collect and maintain all application materials for program.
  • Track status of all applicants and follow-up on outstanding materials required.
  • Coordinate and schedule admissions interviews
  • Prepare admission files for interviews
  • Compile and maintain admissions statistics
  • Handle general clerical needs of office: copying, faxing, filing and responding to telephone inquiries
  • Schedule meetings and maintain records of student interactions
  • Expedite enrollment
  • Inform new and returning students of application requirements.
  • Provide information on all options of study
  • Provide all information necessary for applying to GSSW
  • Coordinate outreach events.
  • Field all inquiries and provide information or refer as necessary to interact with other departments.
  • Assist with marketing tasks related to the GSSW, to include website, social media and marketing materials.
  • Follow up on inquiries and all potential applicants
  • Manages the supply inventory.
  • Database entry and management.
  • Ensures databases and files are documented in all data management systems and compliant with guidelines.
  • Manages open houses, committee meetings, and other events.
  • Applicant engagement, throughout the enrollment process, via phone, face-to-face or e-mail.

Qualifications

  • Education/ Experience 
    • Associate’s Degree Required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Administrative Experience.
    • Experience with online platforms for gathering and processing information.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
    • General Administrative Duties required
    • Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues preferred

    • Work takes place on campus, online as well as outside venues.
    • Local travel for outreach and cultivation.
    • Evenings and weekends as needed.




Maximum Salary

USD $50,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $45,000.00/Yr.
