Overview

As an Executive Assistant to the Internal Audit Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the Internal Audit team. You will be responsible for managing the Executive's schedule and communications, including prioritizing emails and phone calls, gathering documents for meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. You will also assist with audit projects by conducting research, reviewing policies and procedures, and external regulatory documents to create foundational documents. In this role, you will need to be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide administrative support to the executive, including writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform minor auditing tasks.
  • Organize and manage meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and coordinating catering when needed.
  • Manage the executive's calendar, including scheduling appointments and prioritizing sensitive matters.
  • Update the internal audit department website as needed.
  • Perform quality control on audits.
  • Assist with enterprise risk management (ERM) for all entities.
  • Complete special projects assigned by the internal audit executive.
  • Create audit committee and ERM presentations as assigned by the internal audit executive.
  • Perform monthly issue tracking.
  • Recruit interns and monitor the daily activities of the internship program.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in administrative work or related

  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving skills, collaboration, and matrix management skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues.
  • A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook.

Working Conditions

Travel

  • 10% to various Touro locations

Maximum Salary

USD $60,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $48,000.00/Yr.
