Overview

The Adjunct Pathology Instructor will support the Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology by providing case-based, flipped classroom and lecture instruction (nearly all remote via Zoom). The prospective faculty member should have: 1. The abilities to anticipate needs and demonstrate flexibility to work in a high paced environment.2. Attention to detail, possession of excellent communication skills, along with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.On-the-job-training on other required web and desktop-based applications will be provided.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing case-based, flipped classroom and lecture instruction (nearly all remote via Zoom)
  • Developing teaching materials
  • Preparing assessments
  • Communicating with students over the Canvas learning management system, email, telephone and video conferencing
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Board eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • General Administrative Duties required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook required
  • Strong attention to details required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) tequired

Physical Demands

  • This position requires compliance with Touro's Vaccine Mandate policy

Maximum Salary

USD $26,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $20,800.00/Yr.
