Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Assessment, the Project Coordinator assists the Assistant Dean and the Assessment and Accreditation Committee in all matters connected to data processing and presentation for accreditation and assessment purposes. The Coordinator is a main team member of the Watermark implementation committee, including the implementation of the Watermark features connected to placements of GSE candidates in school sites.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Assistant Dean and Chair of the GSE Assessment and Accreditation Committee and with the Director of Assessment to ensure successful communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding accreditation and assessment matters.
  • Design graphics, tables, and other data presentation tools from Watermark and other sources, in collaboration with the Assessment Committee and other GSE departments as indicated by the Dean and the Chair mentioned above.
  • Prepare accreditation timelines, calendars, and components of reports connected to assessment and accreditation.
  • Attend all meetings of the Assessment and Accreditation Committee, Watermark implementation committee, Academic Council, and any other meetings as needed; keep minutes and register action items.
  • Train faculty and staff on the use of Watermark tools as a member of the implementation team.
  • Follow the GSE assessment calendar and involve GSE stakeholders as needed to ensure timeline completion of all tasks connected to AAQEP accreditation.
  • Participate as a key member of the Watermark implementation project, including the work connected with rubrics for key assessments and the placement tools for the clinical experience (Fieldwork, Practicum, and other courses and co-curricular clinical components).
  • Keep current on latest information from AAQEP as well as New York State Department of Education and any other agency’s standards or guidelines that may affect currently enrolled and graduating candidates.

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Successful experience in data management using different sources and tools: Canvas, Watermark, Qualtrics, etc.
  • Experience with data presentation and visualization tools preferred.· Experience with programmatic accreditation preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills (writing and speaking)
  • Strong interest in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
  • Well organized
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Proficiency in cloud-computing services including Microsoft One Drive and
  • Experience using web-conferencing tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, Skype, etc.

Maximum Salary

USD $64,899.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $51,919.00/Yr.
