Overview

Reporting to the Senior Director of Recruitment and Communications, the Visual Designer and Recruitment Associate provides overall support in the areas of Recruitment and Communications for the Graduate School of Education. This role involves developing and designing graphics, videos, web/social media content and other visual media for both internal and external communications. In addition, the role helps with recruitment initiatives, including supporting the Directors of Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator with tasks to drive enrollment such as lead outreach, data analysis and visualization, CRM management, among others.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Recruitment and Communications, Directors of Recruitment, and Coordinator of Enrollment Management to ensure successful communication with prospective applicants and prospective candidates.
  • Design graphics, flyers, brochures, ad campaigns and website multimedia, and other media related to recruitment and communication efforts.
  • Own design of monthly newsletter and other mailings.
  • Record/edit video campaigns and generate photography and other multimedia collateral.
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating new student orientation, open houses, and other recruitment events.
  • Represent the GSE at recruitment fairs and events.
  • Creates visuals for analytic reports on lead conversion, enrollment, and efficacy of paid campaigns.
  • Assist Directors of Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator with a variety of duties related to recruitment.
  • Keep current on latest information from the New York State Department of Education that affects currently enrolled and graduating candidates.
  • Uphold the mission and values of Touro University and the Graduate School of Education
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree
  • Successful experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a sales capacity
  • Experience with CRM preferred (Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Experience in P-12 education strongly preferred

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills (writing and speaking)
  • Strong interest in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
  • Well organized
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe inDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and MailChimp.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Proficiency in cloud-computing services including Microsoft One Drive and Box.com
  • Experience using web-conferencing tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, Skype, etc.

Travel

  • As required.

Maximum Salary

USD $54,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $43,200.00/Yr.
