Overview

Touro College of Dental Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member with specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. The ideal candidate must be board-certified or eligible through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and eligible for a New York State Dental License.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lecturing: Deliver engaging lectures on Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology topics
  • Leading Small Group Sessions: Conduct interactive sessions to instruct students on radiographic interpretation and intraoral radiographic technique
  • CBCT Interpretation and Report Writing: Analyze CBCT scans and prepare detailed reports
  • Radiographic Consults with Students and Faculty: Provide guidance and expertise in radiographic interpretation to dental students and faculty members
  • Scholarly Activity: Engage in scholarly pursuits, including research and publications, to contribute to the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology
  • Private Practice Opportunities: Optional involvement in private practice activities aligned with academic responsibilities

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD), or equivalent degree (i.e. BDS) required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology
  • Eligibility for a New York State Dental License

Physical Demands

  • This position requires compliance with Touro's Vaccine Mandate policy

Maximum Salary

USD $180,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $140,000.00/Yr.
