Overview

A full-time laboratory research position with teaching opportunities is open in the Department of Biology at the Touro University, Lander College for Men in Queens NY. This opportunity combines independent bench research in the laboratory of Dr. Yakov Peter with undergraduate teaching and instruction. Our laboratory is interested in molecular and cellular patterns of stem cell differentiation and tissue regeneration in disease and lung cancer.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting independent research
  • Analyzing, drafting, and publishing methods, results, and papers in peer-reviewed journals
  • Contributing to departmental research teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A postdoctoral, doctoral (Ph.D.) or Masters (M.Sc.) degree with 3+ years’ experience in tissue culture, genetic, biochemical, and/or immunological techniques.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience.

Maximum Salary

USD $58,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $46,400.00/Yr.
