Leads the program and its day-to-day operations and is responsible for researching, planning, and implementing the Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP). Key responsibilities include:
- Initiates and sets goals for the LPP program in accordance with NYSED program requirements and objectives as outlined in the LPP director’s manual.
- Oversees and allocates resources necessary to achieve those objectives from start to finish involving milestones, time-limited targets, and processes per state requirements as outlined in the LPP director’s manual.
- Develops, manages, and approves budgets and operations. Negotiates contracts and manages relationships with external vendors.
- Devises data collection and evaluation strategies to monitor program performance and determines the need for improvements.
- Leads and motivates the LPP team, including hiring, conducting training, as well as ongoing professional learning, performance evaluations, and ongoing team meetings and communication.
- Prepares reports for NYSED to determine progress and issues.
- Ensures that program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies and keeps senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports and presentations.
- Manage key constituents; e.g. NYSED, Touro, and LPP school sites.
