Touro Graduate School’s Web and Multimedia Design Program is looking for a top adjunct faculty with industry knowledge of web design, including:teachingHTML and CSS to build responsive websites and effective email advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a specified number of classes.
  • Be available to teach on-campus between the hours of 6pm - 9:15pm EST (our campus is located in the heart of NYC/Manhattan near Madison Square Garden).
  • Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed.
  • Complete all required professional development/training as needed.
  • Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data.
  • Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, faculty meetings, projects, and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in design related field.
  • Professional work experience in the area of web design and/or web and application development.
  • Advanced knowledge of web design, CSS, and HTML (having the ability to teach the latest software and advanced technical aspects of responsive web design).
  • Advanced knowledge of design principles and Adobe Suite.
  • University/College level teaching experience in the area of web design preferred.
  • Work experience in higher education (teaching, curriculum design) preferred.
  • Experience teaching online, hybrid, and on-campus preferred.
  • Familiarity with an LMS (Canvas preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, video conferencing, and the Internet required.
  • Must have effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Have a passion and charisma for teaching and sharing knowledge to make a difference for future generations.

USD $4,080.00/Sem
