    The Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center is pleased to announce that it is currently seeking applicants for two tenure-track appointments to its full-time faculty starting in August 2022. The law school has a number of curricular needs but is especially interested in candidates specialized in Torts or Business Organizations. Full-time faculty are responsible for teaching and assessing law students in a subject matter of law in which they have a significant professional experience. With one of the most diverse student bodies in the country Touro Law Center is dedicated to the aims of diversity.


  • Prepare and teach graduate law student courses in a physical classroom and/or a virtual classroom
  • Prepare course materials such as syllabi assessments final examinations assignments and handouts
  • Timely grade student assessments
  • Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students
  • Stay current in and continually strive to improve teaching skills and expertise in the subjects that they teach
  • Stay informed of changes in the law and remain current in recent statutory changes and case law developments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues
  • Engage in legal research and produce legal scholarship
  • Commit to service to legal education and to the wider community
  • Engage in the intellectual life of the Law Center
  • Participate on faculty committees
  • Attend faculty meetings and Law Center events



  • J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school


  • Preference for both legal practice and teaching experience
  • Commitment to teaching in an environment dedicated to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students
  • An established record or promise of legal scholarship
