Overview

Touro University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at our Manhattan Campus. Join our collaborative, supportive faculty in preparing the DPTs of the future. You will be teaching at the "Crossroads of the world" at our Times Square campus. 

Responsibilities

  • Student advisement
  • Participation in departmental and college wide committees.

We are seeking candidates with expertise in the area of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

  • Academic Doctorate (Ph.D. Ed.D. D.Sc.) in Physical Therapy or related area preferred (Doctoral candidates enrolled in a Ph.D., Ed.D, or D.Sc. program  will also be considered).
  • Highly desirable qualifications include previous teaching experience in higher education 
  • 5 years of clinical experience preferred
  • ABPTS certification preferred
  • A record of scholarship as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations preferred.

Licensures

  • Applicants who are physical therapists must be licensed or eligible for physical therapy licensure in New York.

Physical Demands

  • This position requires compliance with Touro's Vaccine Mandate policy.

Maximum Salary

USD $91,332.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary

USD $73,065.60/Yr.
