OMM Clinic and Department Administrator

Provide administrative support to the OMM Department at TouroCOM Middletown and the Free OMM Clinic being developed on the Middletown Campus

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide administrative support to the OMM Department on the Middletown Campus including posting academic material to learning management website, assist with exam preparation, developing and communicating practical schedules to students support for OMM faculty.
• Maintain, communicate, & monitor clinic/patient documentation from the OMM clinic that adheres to required privacy security and HIPAA standards.
• Escort patients from waiting area to triage area ranging from those patients with full mobility to limited mobility.
• Prepare and submit provider applications for new doctors and submit to Medicare Medicaid and all other commercial insurance companies.
• Track completion of documentation and Medicaid notes.
• Schedule patient appointments base on triage and availability.
• Interface with the necessary Touro administrative offices as needed to meet the administrative needs of the OMM Department and Clinic.

Education/ Experience

• Associate in Arts required
• At least 3 years administrative experience
• General administrative duties required

• Computer Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to learn and utilize the iClicker System and ExamSoft program
• Proficiency with updating and organizing information in cloud storage e.g. Box
• Ability to learn new computer programs as needed.

• Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
