The Associate Mashgiach is a service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive, and friendly demeanor, who will provide support to the Food Service staff as directed to support the operation of the campus cafés including the preparation of food for daily dining guests as well as for all catering events. The Associate Mashgiach works under the direction of the Senior Mashgiach to ensure food service meets all Glatt Kosher standards. The Associate Mashgiach's role includes regular communications with the certifying Rabbi. The Associate Mashgiach will assist in supervising the overall Kashrut in the kitchen, which includes being present in the kitchen while all meals are prepared and served, and enforcing the Kashrut standards.
The individual who occupies this position is the Campus Dean for Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine Montana, an additional site of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM). The Campus Dean is appointed by the President of Touro College and University System upon his/her nomination by the Executive Dean and the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Provost for Graduate and Professional Divisions of Touro University. This person reports to the Executive Dean. The employment contract will specify title, terms of appointment, length, renewal, and removal for cause. The Assistant Clinical Dean should have a demonstrated record of clinical academic administration, budget management, excellent interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to the development of the College of Osteopathic Medicine. This person must be able to contribute to the College in substantive areas such as program development and teaching at the College-level or beyond. This person will be expected to be an academic administrator who can enhance the College's clinical and academic goals, while making meaningful contributions to the professional discipline, the College, and professional community.
