The School Leadership Internship Supervisor serves as the faculty mentor to all assigned student interns. In addition to the mentoring function, the Internship Supervisor assures that all required student competencies are met and that all written coursework is completed in a manner that reflects the highest standards of our profession. Ultimately the Internship Supervisor will provide the student with a final course grade that is based upon all written coursework as well as the assessment of the site supervisor (e.g. building principal, superintendent, or designee).

This position assists in the administration of internal (TouroCOM) and external (other institutions agencies) placement tests and course exams.

The Clinical Instructor will teach in the undergraduate program in Manhattan, NY at a clinical site with 8-9 students with an emphasis on the care of a patient within the psychiatric/medical-surgical patient population. Clinical instructors are expected to be available for all clinical assignments once scheduled during the semester. Clinicals can be held in any of the five boroughs.
The Clinical Rotation Supervisor supervises groups of Touro College OT students on level II fieldwork in a specified area of practice and within the requirements of ACOTE and the OT Department. Supervision of Level I students is also optional.

The Touro College field supervisor will fulfill the role of clinical instructor. Field supervisors will conduct classroom observations, provide targeted actionable feedback, and assessing candidates’ performance in the classroom based on a subset of components of the Danielson Framework of Teaching. Field supervisors are required to attend meetings and participate in ongoing professional development workshops/webinars each semester.
