Provide Didactic instruction to students at the Medical Imaging Program

The Director for Graduate Medical Education (GME) will work closely with and report to the Associate Dean of GME. The Director will assist the Associate Dean to accomplish mutual goals for excellence in GME.

Teach

Peer Tutors in the Occupational Therapy Program will meet with individual or small groups of students for tutoring on the specified topic (typically Gross Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroanatomy, others with OT Chairperson’s approval)

An experienced medical educator to teach Anatomy and Neuroanatomy to first year medical students on the Middletown, NY campus.  TouroCOM faculty use an innovative “flipped” classroom approach to delivering the curriculum and students in the human anatomy lab learn through a combination of classical cadaver dissection, the study of plastinated models, and a custom designed holographic 3-D anatomy system.

The Adjunct Instructor works with the Program Chair to design and teach program courses ensuring overall program effectiveness. Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty in the athletic department. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department. 

Responsible for providing tutoring assistance for students within discipline area of expertise. Duties include assisting students with course work test taking skills and providing overall academic guidance. Variable work hours up to 20 per week

Work alongside TCOP course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums. Proctor 1-1 or small groups of special students receiving disability-related accommodations.

The Clinical Instructor will teach in the undergraduate program in Manhattan, NY at a clinical site with 8-9 students with an emphasis on the care of a patient within the psychiatric/medical-surgical patient population. Clinical instructors are expected to be available for all clinical assignments once scheduled during the semester. Clinicals can be held in any of the five boroughs.

The Clinical Rotation Supervisor supervises groups of Touro College OT students on level II fieldwork in a specified area of practice and within the requirements of ACOTE and the OT Department. Supervision of Level I students is also optional.

The Lab assistant will assist in clinical courses helping students learn manual skills and clinical skills

The Touro College field supervisor will fulfill the role of clinical instructor. Field supervisors will conduct classroom observations, provide targeted actionable feedback, and assessing candidates’ performance in the classroom based on a subset of components of the Danielson Framework of Teaching. The clerkship director will be responsible for the education of the medical students assigned to third year core clerkship rotations at the hospital. Serve as the Primary Mentor and Core Discipline Clerkship Director for students at affiliate sites; function as administrative & educational liaison to the TouroCOM Department of Clinical Education and the DMEs for the respective core 3rd year clerkship. Assist students with career development and academic support.
