The Department of Behavioral Science within the School of Health Sciences at Touro University invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the MS in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Post-Master’s Advanced Certificate in Behavior Analysis programs. The Drug Information Fellowship position at Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP) in New York is a 12-month program designed to prepare the pharmacy professional who is interested in a career in drug information or medical information. The Drug Information Fellow will based in our Academic Drug Information Center, with an opportunity to collaborate on projects with TCOP partner organizations. Throughout the program, the Fellow will develop into a drug information specialist, acquiring advanced skills in medical information and drug information across various practice settings. Part-Time Faculty, under the supervision of the Program and Associate Program Directors, has the responsibilities for the management and evaluation of the program’s academic and clinical components. The Instructional Design Intern will work directly with the Instructional Designers at the Graduate School of Education to support and deliver on projects, playing a pivotal role in their success. The intern will experience hands-on what it is like to create, design, and evaluate courses, curriculum, and content. An extensive degree of creativity and self-motivation is expected. The Instructional Design Intern will grow both technically and personally through their experience working closely with the Graduate School of Education Instructional Designer. Each intern will also work closely with the Assistant Director of Instructional Design, prior to beginning the internship, to identify their individual goals to accomplish. The Online Education team provides an internship experience that promotes growth with higher education experience by assigning interns specific projects will be assigned based on these goals. The Instructional Technologist is responsible for providing support, training and creating instructional materials for Touro University system users in the use of technology to enhance their instructional and administrative duties. This role will also act as a Canvas LMS administrator to provide LMS administrative support to Touro University system LMS users.

The Director of Project Management for Technology is responsible for directing and overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) for IT to ensure projects meet organization goals and requirements. Under direction of Vice President for Technology/CIO, the holder of the position will maintain and support the technology strategies, policies, tools and procedures needed to enhance the planning, project management services and operational functions provided by the technology department to all Touro business units. These services are designed to maximize the technology departments’ effectiveness and efficiency as an organization, and as a significant contributor to the Touro’s success in achieving responsible stewardship of resources. Delivering exceptional leadership and providing excellent communication, the role provides coaching, facilitation, influence and negotiation, with increasingly complex management and supervisory experience.   Specific Areas of Responsibility   Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) This role oversees the day-to-day operations of project and portfolio management across the organization through directing and supervising the Project Management Office for Technology (PMO), ensuring that all IT projects meet requirements laid out in the PMO for IT policy. The Director of Project Management for Technology works with the PMO team members, Central IT staff and Touro functional leadership, overseeing the development of specific project plans and timelines. The role monitors and reports on progress; develops and builds teams within and across groups; actualizes effective change management and control and directs the PMO in operating according to industry standards of project management, outlined by the Project Management Institute. In management of the PMO, the holder of this position continuous professional development and improvement of the team, focusing on the individuals as well as the overall goal to bring value to IT and Touro University through excellent project and portfolio management. In addition, this role manages meetings with the PMO for Technology Governance Committee on a regular basis, presenting the Committee with new project proposals for consideration as well as providing recommendations and reporting progress on all ongoing projects. Business analysis The role of the Director of Project Management for Technology also oversees business analysis and all team members assigned to working on automation projects related to business analysis outcomes, assuring that reviews of business processes are thorough and proposed solutions are well designed, cost-effective and include long-term viability.   Liaison/Relationship Building and Communications Oversees cross-institutional initiatives and executive level projects, fostering strategic partnerships in carrying out enterprise-wide IT objectives. Act as a high-level representative regarding IT standardizations, services and projects, as well as promote opportunities for IT departments across TCUS. The Program Coordinator of Career & Residency advisement will coordinate career counseling and residency advisement initiatives for students at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) coordinates the daily desk operations in the dental clinic and provides excellent customer service to both the patients and students of Touro College of Dental Medicine. The incumbent provides a positive student and patient experience, collects money, updates patient demographics, schedules, student/patient appointments, and closes out appointments. The Patient Care Coordinator reports to the Director of Clinical Operations. This position strives to make each phase of the patient treatment a positive experience from the initial patient phone call on through the completion of the dental treatment care. The PCC acts as the primary point of contact for patients within the Clinic Group Practices.

IITS support technicians provide both on-premises and remote support for instructional technologies as well as computer labs, libraries, classrooms, and offices.

The Business and Enrollment Manager, reporting to the Director of Education/Medical Imaging Director, oversees comprehensive business, admission, and enrollment coordination for the Medical Imaging Program. As an initial point of contact for applicants, this role ensures a streamlined admissions process and collaborates with undergraduate admissions.

The Inventory and Supply Coordinator manages materials, supplies, and equipment at the Touro College of Dental Medicine. They maintain an updated inventory list, assign minimum par levels, and train personnel to place orders. They use the TouroOne Buy System to replenish inventory and fulfill orders. Upon receiving items, they scan and organize them efficiently. This role reports to the Director of Materials and Instrument Management and collaborates with various teams to ensure the clinic and preclinic are well-stocked. The TouroOne Helpdesk Manager will supervise a team which provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Responsible for identifying, researching, and working to resolve IT/technical as well as finance, human resources and student services related issues. The position is an administrative appointment and may include faculty rank, depending upon experience. This administrator must have prior experience in legal education and with academic success and bar readiness programs. The administrator’s primary responsibilities will be to: (1) oversee the operations of the law school’s Academic Excellence and Bar Success Department; (2) to design and implement programs for students’ academic success in law school and (3) to design and implement strategies and programs for graduating students’ success on the bar exam.
