The Assistant Director of the DNP Program is both a strategic leader and tactical contributor to the Department of Nursing (DON). Provides internal and external leadership for the DNP Program that advances Touro University’s mission, vision, and values. Working closely with the Chairperson of the DON, the Assistant Director of the DNP Program develops goals and metrics, and collaborates with internal and external strategic partners integral to achieving outcomes. Leads the DNP program, faculty team, student engagement, and delivery of high-quality precision education. Develops internal and external metrics and feedback systems for continuous improvement.

The School Leadership Internship Supervisor serves as the faculty mentor to all assigned student interns. In addition to the mentoring function, the Internship Supervisor assures that all required student competencies are met and that all written coursework is completed in a manner that reflects the highest standards of our profession. Ultimately the Internship Supervisor will provide the student with a final course grade that is based upon all written coursework as well as the assessment of the site supervisor (e.g. building principal, superintendent, or designee).

Custodians at the Touro Long Island Campus are responsible to perform services to keep the building and grounds clean and safe.

Work alongside course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums and proctor 1-1 or small groups of special students receiving disability-related accommodations.

The professor would be required to teach at least four undergraduate classes per semester, selected from but not limited to, courses in Physics and Natural Sciences. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Clinical Practice and supported by the Assistant Professor for Clinical Practice, the Professional Development Associate (PDA) is a part-time, university-based, clinical supervision coach who supports the overall function of clinical supervision and provides ongoing professional development for P-12 clinical faculty. The PDA works collaboratively with P-12 mentor and future educator to ensure high-quality educator preparation aligned with state and national bests practices. Additionally, the PDA is committed to actions aligned with the Touro values of integrity, inclusivity, equity, and respect.
